  • Celebrating 75 years of "Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia" Vol.1

    On June 1, 1951, the first printing of the Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia Volume 1 was released. What a delight that it celebrates 75 years as our country celebrates it 250th year. Judge Huxford alluded to the 125 years  or more of the original settlers. We will post that preface soon. 

    We will celebrate this achievement 2:30 p.m., November 8, 2026 at the Huxford Society meeting. Please stay tuned for additional information!
