The Huxford Genealogical Society has a partnership program established with Family Tree DNA for genetic genealogy tests.  This partnership arrangement was specifically created for Genealogical and Historical Societies.  The Partnership is good for Members of the Society and it's good for the Huxford Genealogical Society.

This program has several objectives:

1)  provide reduced rates for members to test their DNA for genealogical purposes,

2)  provide additional revenue for the Society without costing more for the members,

3)  add an incentive for new members to join the Society

To accomplish the objectives of this program, FTDNA offers group rates (a substantial discount from retail prices) to members of the Society, whether FTDNA has a Surname Project for the member's surname or not.
